I'm trying to write a perl script to download files via SFTP. I'm on Perl 5.8.4 on Solaris 10 5/08.  When I try to install Net::SSH2 I get the following error from make:

cc -c  -I/usr/local/include -I.  -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_T S_ERRNO -xO3 -xspace -xildoff    -DVERSION=\"0.18\"  -DXS_VERSION=\"0.18\" -KPIC  "-I/usr/perl5/5.8.4/lib/i86pc-solaris-64int/CORE"   SSH2.c
/usr/ucb/cc:  language optional software package not installed
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `SSH2.o'

My google/web searches haven't lead me anywhere fruitful and I'm very new at this. I appreciate any suggestions anybody may  have.
Thx
Steve
