Creation of PDF from Powerpoint 2007 when printing Notes extremely slow

Creation of a PDF from PowerPoint 2007 when choosing to print notes is extremely slow. This was not an issue when using PowerPoint 2003. I have tried both Acrobat 8 and Acrobat 9 both have the same performance issue. I have also tried this on multiple PCs. Does anyone know of is a fix or workaround that will solve this problem. Thank you.

I downloaded and installed the Office 2007 PDF option. This did produce the PDF with the notes pages much faster. If I am not including the "Notes Pages", I do not have a problem in Adobe Acrobat. Thank you.
How odd. I don't know why Acrobat would slow down with notes pages, but I'm glad ot hear that the Office 2007 PDF option works faster.

You might want to make sure you have all the latest updates for Acrobat -- that could make a difference.
All the latest updates for Acrobat and PowerPoint 2007 are installed.

FWIW, not only is it dog slow, the files can also be enormous -- I just printed a 2MB PPT file to PDF using Print to Adobe PDF, and the resulting file was almost 200MB.
