Why does sfc /scannow keep finding corrupted files?
No matter how many times I run sfc /scannow it keeps finding corrupted files. I'll reboot and it still finds bad files. Is there any way to resolve this?
i suggest testing the disk with the manuf's utility; pick the one you need from :

It could also be an issue with service packs
I hope this helps !

Could you elaborate on the service pack issue?
It's not the drives... could be a virus though.

why is it not the drives? can you explain ?
Yes, it could be a new virus which still not detected by anti virus scanners, suggest clean installation of OS.
well the sfc usually looks for the origianll stalled files, but it has problems detecting service packs and changes caused by them.
So when you run it and it restores files, you may need to instal lthe latest service pack after since it tends to install the original files before new SPs are applied.
