cannot see front end editor for joomla 1.5 in internet explorer ... Fire fox is working fine

I have joomla 1.5 site, that when editing after log in from the front end, I cannot see the editor Tiny or FCK or any one that is set up in Internet Explorer. But in fire fox is works fine .
were do I start to get this going
the error icon comes up with a "Object dosen't support this propery or method"

I had a very similar issue in one of my Joomla sites, and it was due to a version issue.

However, I do recommend JCE Editor instead of Tiny. It has a few more functions, but most importantly you can easily resize the text box in which you are typing into, which is a HUGE bonus if you are writing content pages with a lot of text/pictures.

I would suggest trying JCE Editor, it is a quick install, you you just swap the editors over in the Global Config page. It not only should fix the issue, but also provide you with a more powerful and user friendly interface.

I have tried it with tiny, JCE Editor , TMEdit problem is I cannot see the editor in the front end in IE 6
but FireFox works fine. so there must be another issue. any ideas

but tiny started working and will run in IE 6 and IE7 will not work in IE5
jck will not work in IE5,6,7
but works in FF

any ideas

i reinstalled and cleaned up the site and it has right permissions set and now working who knows but it runs thanks
