How do I supress "Are you sure" messages when running MS Access macros from Windows Scheduler?

I have an Access 97 mdb containing a macro that performs various maketables etc. The mdb is opened with the /x MacroName switch from a DOS .bat file that needs to run daily from Windows Scheduler. The .bat file runs fine when double clicked, but the user has to OK various "Are you sure?" messages (eg "Table will be deleted before query runs"). Run from the scheduler, the .bat hangs on the Access step, and I surmise that this is because it is generating these messages and waiting for the batch userid to respond to them.

So - is my surmise likely to be correct?
and if so, can I supress the generation of these messages and tell Access to just run the damn queries?
