Event ID 12292 & 20, Source VSS

Hello all,

Last week I needed to creat a new Lun for my server and migrate the data and delete the old lun.  This worked ok however every since this I have been getting the following errors on my server

Event ID 20
Source VSS
Description
Volume Shadow copy service error.  A critical componenet required by the volume shadow copy service is not registered.  This might happened if an error occured during Windows setup or during installation of a shadow copy provider.  The error returned from CoCreateInstance on Class with CLSID {65ee1dba-8ff4-4a58-ac1c-3470ee2f376a} and name SW_PROV is [0x80004002]

I have run the following commands on the server and get these results

vssadmin list providers

Provider Name: 'OfmProvider'
Provider type: software
Provider ID: {63f8f587-1498-4f30-b2b7-018b04e15d5a}
version: 1.0

Provider Name: 'Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider 1.0'
Provider type: software
Provider ID: {b5946137-7b9f-4925-af80-51abd60b20d5}
version: 1.0.0.7

vssadmin list ShadowStorage
vssadmin list Volumes

both return the following error

Error: The shadow copy provider had an unexpected error while trying to process the specified command.

vssadmin list Shadow - No iteam found that satisfy the query.

I have also been going through the following MS artical but not sure what the problem is
