how to remove extra space around images that are links internet explorer?

Hello,
I am having an issue with internet explorer adding space around images that are part of a rollover list. In safari and firefox the space does not show up....and I have a border of "0" set to all images so I'm stumped as to why extra space is showing up.
Here is my site:

The section that I'm referring to is under the "top ten reasons..." section. When you rollover each number another reason comes up. I am using the onmouseover technique to do this so I am not sure if that might be causing this bug.
