We are receiving High number of events stating <br />

&quot;Failed to handle request from host because failsafe timeout expired, Source IP=127.0.0.1, Protocol=dns, Type=DomainName, Domain=3.93.224.193.in-add<wbr />r.arpa.&quot; <br />
Device Product: Unix<br />

The events are observed on the the Device: Syamntec Gateway Security, which is used as the External Firewall.<br />
<br />
When i searched in the Refrence Logs, Found the following Description:<br />
<br />
&quot;A DNS query from the host, for an address or name, failed. The DNS server that the query was forwarded to, failed to answer within the set time frame.&quot;<br />
<br />
Please let me know what could be the possible solution for this.<br />

"Failed to handle request from host because failsafe timeout expired, Source IP=127.0.0.1, Protocol=dns, Type=DomainName, Domain=3.93.224.193.in-addr.arpa." 
Device Product: Unix

The events are observed on the the Device: Syamntec Gateway Security, which is used as the External Firewall.

When i searched in the Refrence Logs, Found the following Description:

"A DNS query from the host, for an address or name, failed. The DNS server that the query was forwarded to, failed to answer within the set time frame."

Please let me know what could be the possible solution for this.



Failed To Handle Request

The Domain Name System (DNS) is a hierarchical, globally distributed system responsible for associating the name of a computer, service or other resource into an IP address for connecting to the Internet or a private network. Most prominently, it translates domain names to the numerical IP addresses needed for the purpose of computer services and devices worldwide.
