Smart Media Card Insertion
I bought some used Smart Cards for use in my Roland XP-30 keyboard. When I insert it (apparently as far as it will go), and try to format it, I get this message "Memory Card not Ready." See the attached pic . . . Do I have it in the right way??

Thanks f-king. I was using 3.3V cards. Dagnabbit! The 5 Volt/4MB one ones are selling for a small fortune on eBay ($80).

I think you might need an adapter that attaches to the smart card and then connect to the keyboard did you get one ?
