How do I evenly distribute home directories besides manually doing this?

I have four home directory shares where we try to keep a even load across all four shares.  Over the past few years its become a little out of synch and I am trying to figure out a way to do this automatically.  I would love to be able to use active directory but I'm not sure if I can since we don't have size limits on our home directories :(  I know that to get all four to hold the same number of folders and GB size will be impossible but I'd at least like them close.

I do not think that windows has any support for this, so you will need to continue to do this manually.

the Free treesize, may help you keep an eye on folder sizes easier.

I hope this helps !
