Do you know how to do this for a notes 8 basic installation? the recent contact section is not available in basic installation, when i contacts the i select brows i can search for the email address but can not delete it as there is not option. the user has no contact in her address book....<br />

Once you have the notes client open, you should be able to hold CTRL+SHIFT while double-clicking the icon for the personal address book on the bookmark bar. This will show all the hidden views in the database. Recent contacts should show up then and you can clear it.

When you type a name into Lotus Notes 8.0.1, If the name was previous typed in will show up. How do I clear the cached list. Example: when a user leaves the company there name still shows up when you start typing there name.
