The design of Resource.nsf is not one supportable by RnRMgr. Autoprocessing is being disabled for this dB

Hello.

After upgradeing out Domino Server from 6.5.4 to 8.0.2 there is the following error on the console The design of Resource.nsf is not one supportable by RnRMgr.  Autoprocessing is being disabled for this dB and there seem to be have problems with the Resource.nsf.  When we create meetings and book existing rooms, there is no confirmation sent and if I open the resource database and go see the calendar, it's does not show any bookings.

How can I correct this issue ?

Thanks

Were there modifications to the original Resource database made by your company?

Try this, if at all possible or allowed:
- shut down the Domino server
- rename Resource.nsf to Resoure.old
- restart the server; AFAIK the server will re-create the Resource.nsf database

the design replace can be performed by selection (or opening) application and clicking on File-Application-Replace Design, choose your server, check show advanced templates and select Resource Reservation from the template list

Hi fgrushevsky,

as usual, thank you :) I did a little more research yesterday and found what you mentioned, it seems to work prefectly, but It seems to have uncovered some little errors now :s

12/17/2008 02:01:27 AM  RnRMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID: NT00000902) in database mail\rcanada.nsf: Cannot find user in Domino Directory
12/17/2008 02:01:28 AM  RnRMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID: NT00000BC6) in database Resource.nsf: Can't find $BusyName field on profile
12/17/2008 02:01:28 AM  RnRMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID: NT0000090A) in database Resource.nsf: Cannot find user in Domino Directory
12/17/2008 02:01:29 AM  RnRMgr: Error processing reservation document (NoteID: NT00002E56) in database Resource.nsf

Concerning the first error, mail\rcanada.nsf. This actually exists :s
The user rcanada exists and mail file is there, but user calendar profile is either not there (or corrupt) or has some other name in it (usually happens if user was renamed and something went wrong)
You can check profile, presense of the $Busitime field and name on the profile using Notes peek.
You can also ask user to open mail file profile (open mail file, from inbox click on tools button-preferences), check if Full user name (with hierarchy) is correct, then click on Calendar-to do tab and check that everything looks proper over there. Even if everything looks find let user make a minor change (and change it back) then click OK to save profile
It should fix user profile, then sched task should take it from there...
Ok, I noticed that this is a common mailbox and an ex employe had changed the ownership to himself. I set it back to the same as the mailbox it self so hopefully the sched task will take care of the rest of this issue.

Now what can be the issue with the second one or how can I correct this ?
12/17/2008 02:01:28 AM  RnRMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID: NT00000BC6) in database Resource.nsf: Can't find $BusyName field on profile
it means that one your resource documents (room, online meeting place etc) could be corrupted
Each resource has its own calendar profile within resource reservation database that has information on the resource availablity (capacity, time available etc).

Again, you can use NotesPeek to see what profile has $busitime missing or you can resave all your resoirces and, most likely, it will fix the problem
Excellent, I've done so and will see how it goes with the scheduled task.

I also have another question that so far as no answer, can you help me on this one also ?
