Autodesk Vault Admin Functions Slow to Respond
Would anyone have any ideas as to why administration functions in the Vault Explorer seem to take forever?
I'm trying to configure the Groups, Folders, users, etc& and this is like watching grass grow&&

Was SQL upgraded?
Have you implemented a SQL maintenance plan?
Have you reviewed the Advanced Configuration Guide for this version?
Are you running Virus scanning on the Vault server?
Are you running a non-standard configuration (proxy server, IIS/or file store on a different box than SQL, etc)?
Have you installed any of the SQL management tools from MS and reviewed those settings/options?
When's the last time you reindexed the DB?
What's the DB size?
How many users?
Are you running SQL express or full SQL?
There's a lot of areas that could be causing this.
