Exchange Active Sync has stopped working

Hi
I have had myiphone linked to my exchange for past 3 months.
It has worked great, but all of a sudden it has stopped working. No changes have been made to configuration of my server.
I have ports 443 80 , 25 all open and forwarded to my server. No changes have been made.
are there any diagnostics checks I can run to find the course of the problem?

Are you using SSL, if so have you checked that your certificate hasn't expired?

Can you access webmail from a browser external to your network without any issues?

Yep, I can use OWA and the certificate has not expired. Seems ok

Just a quick update
I can send mail from the iphone to internal and external recipitents, but not cannot recieve.

Figured it out...on access store scanning on puremessage was disabled. Not sure why this would have stopped the iphone from working but when I enabled it ,it started to work and when I disabled again it didnt.
