How do I update an existing MS Access 2003 runtime installation with a new .mde file?

I have many customers that I have provided MS Access 2003 runtime applications. The application is an MS Access 2003 .mde file front end link to a MS SQL backend. I want to provide an update to the MS Access 2003 .mde front end file. I can send the MS Access .mde file via email, then they have to save and overwrite the existing file. This have proven to be difficult for most of my customers. The question, is there a way to deploy an update with the Access 2003 developer tools to overwrite the existing file?
