Hi There
Using Virtual Machine Manager 2008 I have managed to run an offline P2V of a Windows XP workstation and it works like a treat on the Virtual Machine Manager box.

I am wanting to run the VM from a Windows XP workstation using Virtual Server 2005 R2 but I have found after just copying the VHD's from the HyperV box to the Windows XP machine and adding it to the Virtual Server Console everything looks good but when I boot up the VM it just displays a black screen.

I have also tried to add the Windows XP machine as a host in the VMM Admin console so I can try a migrate but VMM will only allow you to add server Operating systems as hosts.

Do you know how I might be able to run the Virtual Machine on a Windows XP SP2 machine running Virtual server?
