i get the following error when I try publish my application(to the server) and try to log in

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)

the sql server is configured to allow remote connections

however, when I run this from my local machine everything works fine !!!

what am I doing wrong?

web config file specs:

<connectionStrings>
    <remove name="SageAspNetDb" />
      <add name="SageAspNetDb" connectionString="Data Source=SageDev01;Initial Catalog=aspnetdb;Integrated Security=True"
          providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
  </connectionStrings>
