The server is a HP Proliant ML350G3 (4x Xeon 3Ghz) with 8*2 GB of RAM.
The oracle process uses 4.1 GB of RAM and 5.5 GB of virtual memory
Each SAP process (disp+work.exe) uses from 70 MB till 750 MB for each (34) process.
So, the whole 16 GB is in use, and then it also uses +- 18 GB of Virtual Memory.
(see attached picture)
I'm not used to work with SAP/Oracle, but in my eyes this is looks a bit like a misconfigured system.
The people that maintain the SAP installation say that this is perfectly normal, but I would like to have
to opinion from other people too.
We are also thinking on replacing the server in the near future and maybe you guys can suggest which
could be a good configuration (HP!!)
