Outlook 2003 - Printing to new printer - "Printer Not Ready"

Hey Experts -

I installed 5 new Dell printers at a client to replace some old/broken machines.  3 Color Laser and 2 Black/White Lasers.  One user is trying to print to her color laser and it works in every program except Outlook 2003.  When she tries to print to her color laser it says "Printer Not Ready".  I can print in any other program, I can print from Outlook 2003 with a different printer just not her new Color Laser.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling printer (shared off a SBS 2003 server).  No effect.  Any ideas?  Machine is running Windows XP

You could try repairing Office see if that helps and if that doesn't fix there is always uninstall reinstall to the Outlook component of Office. This should only take about 20 minutes.
Try printing from Outlook Safe mode - Outlook.exe /safe

Alright will try that, trying to avoid reinstalling Outlook, dont want to have to add all the accounts back in.

I will try the safe mode.  I am looking to find the damn Office CD, cant find em on the file shares.

Thanks any other ideas?  Anyway to just rebuild the printer portion of outlook>
Did the same issue occur with Outlook in safemode?
I have to wait for the user to be gone for the day, or to give me the go ahead to use her machine.  I can let you know around 4 - 4:30.

I wanted to hop on her machine remotely to take a peak but shes using it.

What will that show if it can print in Outlook Safemode?
Usually third party addins are the culprit when this works in safemode. If it doesn't work in safemode, you might need to find the media for a good repair process.
I am transferring my Office 2003 over FTP right now so hopefully if she cant find a disk I will try that.

I will try safemode and let you know.

Will post back around 4:30!

Thanks!
works in safemode,

cant install SP3, doing a repair install

still having issues now, removed outlook, tried creating new profile, outlook.exe /safe same issues happen.

kind of at aloss.

installed printer locally instead of off share.
Try to ensure the drivers are all PCL on boththe hosting Print server and on the client.
