We have a network attached HP Designjet 800 plotter using the onboard HP JetDirect Card.  We recently moved it from a directly attached USB connection from a PC.  When it was connected to the PC, it was shared and multiple users could que up multiple drawings to be printed and let it go.  The USB connection got damaged and since it had a JetDirect card in it we connected it directly to the network.  That fixed the immediate problem with the bad USB port, but now I am guessing that it has limited memory and we cannot que up mulitple files to be printed.  We have a Microsoft 2003 Small Business Server on the network.  Can we use that as a print server without it being directly connected to it?  Is there another possible solution.. LPD/LPR?
Thanks...
