I have an Exchange 2003 server onsite, we are able to send and recieve emails from one internal user to another, and also receive external email in. However emails to external addresses such as Gmail, or Yahoo, or anything else are stacking up in a queue on the exchange server. By the naming of the queue I am guessing that these messeges are being sent to our corporate exchange servers before being sent out. The corporate servers are exchagne 2007 machines. I think some of the messages have gone out that were 'sent' early this morning, we are experiencing a very slow internet connection right now, as something is consuming all of our bandwidth right now. I updated the exchange server this morning with windows updates and restarted the server, there are no messages in the queue from before today, and there were at least 2 messages in this queue before I restarted the server that are gone now well after restarting the server. Could there be an issue with the windows updates that caused this, or is this likely due to our overall bandwidth problem? Should I try restarting the server again?
