"Save As" dialog box keeps popping up in Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) randomly. Usually will pop up while pressing the backspace or delete keys.

Usually will pop up while pressing the backspace or delete keys. I have had little luck searching topics on this subject.

I'm with MightySW on this one. Another alternative is to save yourself future headaches, spend 10 bucks on a new keyboard and trash the old one.

I have a new keyboard.  My old one did the same one.
I have a new keyboard.  My old one did the same thing, that is why I originally replaced it thinking it was my keyboard.
Can you reliably reproduce the fault or is it random?
Hard to say exactly.  Sometimes every time I press backspace and/or delete the dialog appears.  Other times it works like a champ with no issues.
Check that you have the latest Mouse and Keyboard Drivers installed.
New keyboard did the trick.  The old one had a waterproof membrane which made cleaning or un-sticking impossible.

Had this issue with a wireless keyboard. Popped the batteries and the dialog didn't pop up anymore. New batteries, and connected again to change frequency eliminated the problem.
