Unable to create new Routing and Remote Access Policies

I'm running windows 2003 R2.
I have a problem with my RRAS. When opening the RRAS, I'm prompted with two pop up windows
1. Remote Access Policy Error-An error ocurred when trying to make a connection to the data store
2. Logging Error-An error ocurred when trying to make a connection to the data store

Both Remote Access Policies and Remote Access Logging are marked with the  'red x' and I found that I'm unable to create new remote access policy ( the option is inactive)

What is the cause and how to solve it?

In forst error it is referring to some data store. Where this data source is located? And what Remote access has to do with it?

That is the default setting of Routing and Remote Access Service. The logfile located at C:\windows\ssytem32\logfiles . Others I don't know. Suppose to be at the default location.
