SBS 2003 to SBS 2008 Migration Problem

Hi
We are migrating our SBS 2003 server to SBS 2008.
We have gone through all the preparation tools and created an answer file.
The installation fails near the end with the error
"FATAL: DcPromo_JoinDomain: The server was not promoted to a domain controller"

Also from the error logs directory I have.
DCPromo_090106.152203.log

"Checking if Active Directory Domain Services binaries are installed...
Active Directory Domain Services Setup

Validating environment and parameters...

A delegation for this DNS server cannot be created because the authoritative parent zone cannot be found or it does not run Windows DNS server. To enable reliable DNS name resolution from outside the domain informit.local, you should create a delegation to this DNS server manually in the parent zone.

The Directory Services Safe Mode password does not meet the minimum password length requirement of the password policy. Supply a longer password."

Can anyone help with this.
Best Regards

Ok - We changed the Domain Administrators Password to a longer complex password, this appears to get us past this error but now we are stuck again with the following prompt at the Expanding and installing files part of the setup.

"Active Directory replication is taking longer than expected. You can choose whether to continue waiting. If you choose not to wait, the migration may fail. Unless you are sure that replication is working correctly, it is recommended that you continue waiting. Do you want to wait for the replication to finish?"
Clicking Yes, just makes this warning come up again 30 mins later

Cheers

Finally got a successful migration.  We had a couple of old Domain Controllers still in Active Directory which were causing us grief.
Thanks for the Help.

I have an additional issue with this same error, and can write a new question or add it here. Someone please advise on that.

I get the same 'fatal: dcpromo_joindomain: the server was not promoted to a domain controller' however I have this to add:
"You cannot install an additional domain controller at this time because the RID master %computername%.domainname.local is offline"

This is the second time to install SBS2008 because I had to make a different partition from the OS to the datafiles. How do I remove this RID entry for the first install from my domain?

Thanks!
