Xerox workcentre 7665 account printing problem

hello i got a Xerox workcentre 7665 with driver version pcl rev2 (same as other stations) on the office. it works fine for all the users, but a specific user can only print black and white.. When i try printing color on it, asks me for the color account password, after putting it it starts printing but the printer page says a warning "the job had been deleted because the account has been depleted"  i tried everything i could think for this, but still says same thing everytime i print color. everyone else prints fine with the same color account. the worksstations run XP.

It sounds as if the workcentre is running Auditron accounting. This is a feature that lets the printer decide which users can print colour/mono, and how many pages. It would have been enabled by your IT people. You should ask them to increase the number of colour prints you are allowed.

It is also possible that it is not the printer's internal Auditron, but some print management software that limits your prints. Again you'll need to talk to IT to change that.

Printers and Scanners

A printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media. Traditional printers are being used more for special purposes, like printing photographs or artwork, and are no longer a must-have peripheral; 3D printing has become an area of intense interest, allowing the creation of physical objects. An image scanner is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image. Hand-held scanners, where the device is moved by hand, have evolved from text scanning "wands" to 3D scanners used for industrial design, reverse engineering, test and measurement, orthotics, gaming and other applications.
