Hi folks,

So I'm working on a small project and I thought it would be very nice to use the Entity framework to access the data I need to build this CRM tool I'm working on. I'm going threw the tutorials and I can see the power that this provides but right off the bat I come across this problem.

We use machine.config to determine our connection strings and we avoid putting things in the web.config file (when it comes to connection strings that is),  however I cannot find anywhere a way to use the connections string (or part of it at least) from the machine config file. Do I have to hard code it? Or is this not possible on the count of EF needs to determine which xml files to use?

I'm trying to convince people here to use EF across the board but I doubt it will go far if we cannot use machine.config.

Thanks
