ColdFusion Custom 404 with IIS 7.0 on Vista
I know I'm just missing something simple here... despite all the warnings I've managed to get ColdFusion 8.0 with MS SQL 2000 running nearly perfect on a vista machine with IIS 7.0.....
The only thing left to get working is the ability to setup custom 404 pages... I know exactly how to do this in earlier versions of IIS but cannot seem to get it working in IIS 7.....simply changing the 404 setting under "Error Pages" to "Executable URL" with a path of "/mysite/404.cfm" is not working.....
Please please please advise..... Thanks in advance.

I actually "was" just missing a very simple setting....
On a personal note, I really gotta say that Microsoft really seems to have taken a step backwards in innovation with Windows Vista!!! I feel like I went from driving a Ferrari to riding in a wheel chair. Frustrating!!!

From ColdFusion Administrator, go settings, scroll down
Missing Template Handler
Specify the relative path to the template to execute when ColdFusion cannot find a requested template.
Easy, put in your cfm and it will do it, no need to worry about IIS.
