SQL copy and paste data

I use to MS Access and copy and paste query results into Excel. In MS Access I would be able to copy Column heading as well as row data. However, in SQL 2005 I am not able to copy accross column headings when I use cut and paste

Thats correct, you can however run query in query analyser and click the 'Results to File' option on toolbar. This will save data and column headings to a file. Open excel and import file and you will get column headings also.Bit slower but you will get headings.
