We are using a windows 2008 server as a terminal server. Two remote offices connect to the network via the terminal server. Each of the host computers has Microsoft office on them but the terminal server does not. For the employees to view and edit office documents they have to move the documents to their desktop and then move them back to the server. This is a bit tedious and also with respect to a few of the excel spreadsheets cumbersome. Is there anyway to get Microsoft office onto the terminal server so that they can edit the documents without moving them back and forth? I am not attempting to circumvent any licensing, each user has it on their computer I would just like for them to be able to view the documents when they connect to our network.
