The names of folders on our file server are not being properly displayed. When viewed remotely from my Vista Ultimate desktop PC, some folders show the name 'Documents.' When viewed on the file server, the folders show the name 'seggington' (this is the username of one of our domain administrators). Neither of these are the correct folder names. This happens to different folders at different times (it's not always the same folders having the problem).
The only way to determine the proper name of the folder is to open the folder directly on the file server and look at the address bar. Opening the folder on my Vista workstation only shows the incorrect 'Documents' folder name.
One thing to note is that these folders are the users' Active Directory home folders. I am not sure if that is the cause or not. I have not seen the issue with other folders that are not being used as home folders.
