Is there a way to strip attachments from email sent to blackberry's that are over a specific size?

Here is my situation.

My company email is setup with forwarding to my blackberry. If someone sends me an email that contains a large attachment, the email hits my internal email then it gets forwarded to my blackberry. Once it hits my blackberry, my blackberry returns a bounced message saying that the attachment has exceed the maximum file size and says the email has failed. The original sender then thinks that I did not get the email.

Is there a way using a BES server to limit the size of attachments that gets sent to my blackberry? If the size has exceeded to NOT send a bounced message?

I do not have a BES server. I am using Blackberry's Internet email on my blackberry for the blackberry address. I am hoping the BES server has this capability before I go out and purchase it.

Thank you.
