ASA 5510 with SSM-10 IPS module

I have an ASA 5510 running 7.06 due to certain restrictions. My external interface is 10.1.x.x, the internal is 176.16.x.x, and the management is still default at 192.168.1.1.

the IPS module is still in its default IP of 192.168.1.2

I would like to put the management IP of the firewall and IPS on the same subnet so I can manage them from the ADSM.

I would also like to monitor and divert traffic from the outside interface to the IPS module for inspection. What IP address should the IPS have, should it be on the inside lan or have an address on the outside interface? Kinda new to ASA devices.
