I am trying to setup single mailbox backups and having some real fun.

I have installed the MapiCdo 1.2.1 files. I am trying to create a local Mapi profile now and experiecning the following:
Cannot resolve the local server by name when trying to pick the user, get the followign error: Network problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server
If I point to the old 2003 exchange server, it resolves and changes to the name of the new server.
If I use the IP address of the server, it resolves and changes to it's name.
If I configure a mapi profile on another server, and point to this server...it works, logging on as the same account etc.

So I can only assume it is a strange DNS thing...that or Exchnge 2007 is not acceptingMAPI requests from itself, or I have missed a right it requires? Account I'm trying to do this from is an administrator, has log on as a service, has act as part of operating system etc...

And I can of course, ping the server by name fine...I can resolve it in DNS...I even added itself to it's host file just in case.

So I'm a little stumped....has anyone experienced similar problems settnig up single mailbox backups?
