New Windows XP Pro PC (one of seven) in networked SBS 2003 environment all PCs have Office 2007 Plus installed.
Users use roaming profiles from SBS 2003 server
One user cannot use Word 2007 on that PC, Word 2007 hangs at point where it's opened window but pane is blank. You can do nothing with Word except close it. Task Manager shows Word 2007 as not responding.
Problem user can logon to other six identical PCs and use Word 2007 no problem. Other users can log onto problem PC and use Word 2007 no problem. All Domain Users are local administrators on PCs
Problem user on problem PC can use rest of Office 2007 suite ok except Word 2007
Tried so far: -
1. Logged on as Administrator and removed problem user's local profile and restarted PC (so that fresh Roaming Profile is downloaded)
2. Using Add and Remove Programs I have removed MS Word 2007 component in configure Office 2007, restarted PC and then added it back to Office 2007.
3. Starting Word 2007 from command line with /a and /r switches
4. Deleted registry keys as per http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822005
