GPO to disbale Explorer Bar IE6

Is there a way to hide the explorer and.or diaable to use of the search funtion ctrl + E in IE6 since this would enable someone from typing a web address in and going out ot the internet via a GPO in IE6 and IE7.

Does this registry tweak for IE do the trick for you

 If that works then you could create an ADM and deploy the registry setting that way or you can manipulate the registry easily with group policy preferences

Some Fyi, It looks like your trying to block all avenues of getting on internet.
 
Look at this route that may need blocking as well.
 
go to any printer installed>>properties>>preferences>>services>>and select a service and go opens a webpage as well

If word is installed there will be many ways to get to any site unless you disable alot of the toolbars
