We are using SQL Server 2005.

We are backing up the server to a Freedom9 NAS on a weekly basis.

We are then attempting to backup the NAS to an online backup provider: Data Deposit Box

The problem we have run into is that the archive bit for the file in the NAS cannot be modified.

We have all the rights in the world. We can copy the file, move it, delete it, but cannot change the archive bit or any other file attribute. We have full control over the copy of the file.
