Office 03 - "The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it."
My client has an issue with Office 03 and I want to repair install it. When I go to Add/Remove Programs and to Change MS Office I get this error messge:
"The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it."
If I put in the CD for Office 2003 same thing happens.
I figured I will need to use the MS Uninstall/Cleanup Utility. But kind of want to avoid it.
Any idea?

This generally means the installation path has changed or the CD isn't correct. I remember in a company I used to work for, there had been a variety of installations of Office 2000 (Premium, Small Business, etc). Many of them had been installed with the CD. We found that is we didn't use the exact cd for that version, we received the same message you are getting. Are you sure the CD you are installing is for the exact version that is installed?

I tried running Outlook.exe from the SBS server under Client Apps as well as just a Office 2003.
Should still allow me to install a 2nd instance of it.

I don't think so, but if it is a new or higher version, it would probably upgrade the version that is on the client.
