Quick question:  I'm building a form from 2 tables:

tblMain fields:

MainRecordNumber
Date
TotalHours

tblDowntime fields:

DowntimeRecordNumber
MainRecordNumber
Reason
TotalMinutes

I created a form using the tblMain and then dropped in a subform using tblDowntime (Downtime Form).  They are linked using the MainRecordNumber field.

How can I pull the "TotalMinutes" field off the subform and use it as the entry for the "TotalHours" field on the Main Form?

I can get the subform value to appear on the main form by doing: [Downtime Form].Form![Total Minutes] in a text box.

But how can I store that in the Main Table under "Total Hours"?

Thanks in advance for your help!
