A while back ago we moved our dns server to a new machine. Everything seems to be working fine except that the machine that was running dns sometimes doesn't authenticate users. I can reboot and then it works fine but I wasn't sure if this was because we hadn't demoted this machine yet. How can I be positive that I'm ready to demote this machine? I have turned the dns server service off for about a week now and dns seems to be working fine. <br />
