My server is dropping off the network at random intervals, any ideas?

We have a virtual machine with Windows 2003 SP2 installed on it that is running on an Esxi server.

At irregular intervals (but usually at least once over a 24 hour period) the server will be unreachable from any other machine on the network, you cannot ping it using its name or its static IP address.

You can of course still access it using the VMware client and we have to manually restart the vm in order to make it reachable again.

There is nothing in the event viewer that suggests anything is wrong, and when you are on the server it still thinks it has its IP address and still interacts with the outside world fine.

The only error we can generate is using dcdiag;

===
 Starting test: systemlog
         An Error Event occured.  EventID: 0xC00010E1
            Time Generated: 01/09/2009   10:38:00
            (Event String could not be retrieved)
===

Any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.
