I have some Javascript which detects the enter key being pressed and then executes a bit of code.

It works OK in FF, IE and Opera but does not work in Safari on Mac.

Any help would be appreciated.
<script>
function enterPressed(evn) {
if (window.event && window.event.keyCode == 13) {
     EXECUTE CODE
     })
} else if (evn && evn.keyCode == 13) {
     EXECUTE CODE
     })
}
}
document.onkeypress = enterPressed;
</script>
