choose "From" email address when seding email
I am working with exchange 2007. I have a number of users that need to reply to emails that they receive, with something other than their normal email address. I have setup contact records for the email addresses that they would like to send as. I gave them Send-As permissions, and they can choose them from the "From" drop down in outlook, but when the mail is received on the far end it still has their regular email address on it.
Help please.

You should use a third-party software to achieve that. Goggle for "Sending From Non-Primnary SMTP Address"

To access this solution, you must be a member of Experts Exchange.
Therefore if they need to choose a different address using the From field then you will need to setup a full mailbox.
Replies will come in to that mailbox, so a forward will need to be set on the properties of the mailbox to forward the messages to their real mailbox.
