I  am trying to shrink a huge database in SQL 2000.It has got about 600gb of data.My only concern is since there is no good back up of this db so far, and if I run a shrink, what is the chance of this db being corrupted. Also if I interrupt shrink in middle with that also corrupt the database.
I mean,Is there a chance that running a Shrink will corrupt a DB.Also what is the best way to get back more free space.Do I need to move the log file also out and create a new one.
