Recommendations for small form factor and 'industrial' server for Linux?

I have a project that will need to interface with various modems in the field.  And by field I mean outside 24/7/365 in weather and very harsh conditions -- wet, hot, humid, salty.  Anyway, it will necessarily need to run a Linux distribution (not much concerned with which), and be as small form factor as possible (while remaining hardened / sealed) is preferred.  Specs. for processing and memory can be quite low as it's only processing minimal data.  It will have an XAMP installation running, but use of that again will be minimal -- nothing inside going on that is processor or memory intensive.  I've looked and all I seem to find under industrial type searches are way too large or intended for indoor use.  Ideally this thing would be about the size of a paperback or two.  Any recommendations much appreciated!
