Event Error 1030 and 1058

I am getting an Application Event Error 1030 and 1058 every 5 days. The Descriptions is:

Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. Check the event log for possible messages previously logged by the policy engine that describes the reason for this.

I have to restart my Windows 2003 Server and it works fine for another 5 days.  Help!

I am getting the same errors.  I went through the Group Policy troubleshooting website, but it is still not resolved.

ASKER

asyab:  I am getting the following error description from EventID 1058:

Windows cannot access the file gpt.ini for GPO CN={31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9},CN=Policies,CN=System,DC=RKTechnology,DC=local. The file must be present at the location <\\RKTechnology.local\sysvol\RKTechnology.local\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\gpt.ini>. (Configuration information could not be read from the domain controller, either because the machine is unavailable, or access has been denied. ). Group Policy processing aborted.

I am not sure to make of the link you asked me to read. I am not sure what they mean by error codes 3, 5, 53.  However, I did run the gpnupdate and it reported a successful policy refresh.  I do not see the event ID's 1500-1503 on my System event logs the the document describes.

I have tried to purge the dfs cache, but no luck.  I restarted the dfs service and so far no error.
asyab: OK, I have run the dfsutil /PurgeMupCache ; What do I do now? Wait for 3-5 days to see if this error comes?
