I recently installed 2GB ram on my notebook. The drive was fine prior to the install. Now, when I perform the windows defrag analyzer, it comes back as needed and 16%. I defragged but still did not change.
I changed my page file settings to system managed from where they were before at custom.
I used defraggler as well but still cannot seem to get the defrag issue to go away. I think it is the page file issue if I have read everything correctly, but cannot figure out how to fix this now. RAM shows 2gb properly, just the hard drive fragment issue has come up. Thanks!
