I don't think it is a good idea, if it were possible due to the different versions of PS and PDF drivers. I would suspect that the CS3 will detect the presence of 9 anyway and will try and remove it.<br />

Thanks. My clients company have bought her cs3, but she is using earlier versions and is comfortable using them and is worried that if she installs the newer cs3 stuff and doesn't like she will not be able to go back to the previous versions.<br />

Is it possible to have illustrator 9 and illustrator cs3 running on the same machine, or are there problems with having the two on the same machine.<br />
I do recall reading somewhere that there are problems but I can't seem to remember where I read it (if I did at all.)<br />
