I'm relatively new to mysql and i want to use mysql c api to connect a c application to mysql server.
My os is Windows XP and i'm using mingw-5.1.4. I have installed MYsql Server 5.1 from a package i found on the internet but in the installation directory "C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1" the only subdirectories i have are bin,Docs and share.
I need mysql header files, such as "mysql.h" which are supposed to be in include sudirectory according to the manual ( and i don't have include subdirectory). What should i do? Where can i find the required header files?
