Windows Mobile Active Sync problem - error 0x80072f17

I have a number of MDA Vario III CoPilots with Windows Mobile 6 Pro , CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)

I have Active Sync running on these with no issues apart from on one phone, which gives me error 0x80072f17 when trying to sync. I have checked that the settings on this phone are the same as on the working phones, and I also have the SSL requirement disabled on all of them.

Any ideas anyone ?

Removing Active Sync and then reinstalling and configuring it resolves this issue, so it doesn't seem to be directly related to digital certificates on a specific handset.
