Shared video feed for hub and spoke model
One of my clients wants a shared feed of the inauguration. They would like to stream one feed into the internet and disperse it to multiple sites and make it available for all computers or jus a few select. Of course I was just asked now and time is short. Oh and they would like to find a free solution as this is a one time thing for them.
Client does have Sharpoint.
Anyone have any ideas? I am not even sure where to post this.

They basically want to use cnn.com.
Oh even better. So the feed is being published by someone else and you just want to maybe put that video into a web part on SharePoint, right?
A few ways to handle.
-Page Viewer web part
-Content Editor web part
I like Content Editor web part because you can put just the piece of a page that you want, although it requires more work. You then can remove navigation, advertising, etc from the page you are displaying.
First you go to the page you want to display content from.
For example, I'm trying out: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2009/01/17/coast.guard.crash.landing.coastguard
They happen to have an "Embed" link right on the lower right of the video.
Clicking that gives you: (see attached JPG)
You then add a content editor web part to any SharePoint page (top right, click Edit Page)
Add the web part, then modify the settings for it. Select the Source Editor button, paste in the code, click Save then OK.

Let me know if any questions. Try it out, should work fine.
